Central Va Farms

(This real estate market report includes information through 12/31/2018 for the Central Virginia Counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, and Orange.)

Small farms, 21-50 acres, are the most plentiful here in Central Virginia. Farms of this size account for the largest number of sales and active listings.

There are also a large number of active listings for farms over 100 acres. With year-to-date sales for this size of farm sitting at a mere nine total, this indicates a very slow and stagnant market right now for large sized farms.
